Solar energy is a method of harnessing the suns energy and converting this immense natural energy source to either electricity using solar panels or thermal energy for direct water heating. Both with the object of not just saving money but saving the environment.

CD SOLAR provide a solar photovoltaic (PV) panel solution to generate electricity and connect into the national grid, offering users both maximum energy and cost benefits.

The UK government have committed to decreasing our dependence on fossil and nuclear fuels and have a legislated a Feed in Tariff, sometimes called Energy Cash backs effective from 2010. This Feed in Tariff obliges energy companies to pay a premium price to you, for all the energy produced by your solar system.

A Typical 2.1kW retrofit system would return an income of up to £367.50 for the generation in Feed in Tariff alone. South facing roofs optimise the system.
The starting rate will last for 25 years, long after the system has paid for itself.
The rates are set to rise with inflation annually.
Feed in tariff income is tax free.
Energy consumed is offset from your bill with any exported electricity being valued at 3p per kW.
PV Installations benefit from a reduced VAT rate of 5%.
